The story behind the shot
The common hepatica is a sure sign of the arrival of spring. No matter how cold and unforgiving the winter can be, this delicate and fragile flower blooms in early April. I photographed it with the sun hitting the forest behind it and standing there photographing I could feel the calm of the forest rush over me.
Each print is printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Pearl which is a beautiful and glossy paper. This paper is my personal favorite for fine art printing. Each print comes with a 1 cm border for easier mounting.
This print is a limited edition print limited to only 30 prints. After edition 30, I will not be printing this piece again. The print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that features a special hologram sticker system.
